GreenStone Farm Credit Services is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Services team. This role plays a key part in delivering technology solutions that support and enhance business processes across the organization. The Business Systems Analyst collaborates with business partners, technical teams, and vendors to gather requirements, design solutions, facilitate meetings, and ensure high‑quality software delivery.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, translating business needs into technical requirements, and supporting users through system changes. The role also carries responsibility for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data and ensuring that technology solutions align with GreenStone’s standards and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and workflow reviews to gather and document business and technical requirements
- Consult with customers, colleagues, and management to understand technology needs and solution options
- Review purchased software solutions to ensure features and functions meet business requirements
- Research and analyze the effectiveness of existing processes and systems, documenting findings and recommendations
- Develop and maintain standard templates for requirements documentation
- Create clear, detailed system documentation including process flows, use cases, data dictionaries, security matrices, screen mockups, training materials, and release notes
- Facilitate meetings and demonstrations to gather feedback and show progress
- Provide accurate time estimates for project tasks and track progress against project plans
- Identify risks, anticipate issues, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Execute testing based on requirements, use cases, and test scripts with minimal supervision
- Document issues and test results clearly, offering process improvement suggestions when appropriate
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned projects and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Support & Customer Service
- Provide knowledgeable and professional support for custom and off‑the‑shelf software solutions
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and assist with user training
- Communicate with vendors regarding application updates, product evaluations, and ongoing support needs
- Provide second‑level support for incident and problem management
- Supply test data and scenarios to support resolution of complex software issues
- Verify stability and functionality of deployments across environments
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred majors include Computer Science, Business, or Accounting
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Preferred
- Certifications such as Salesforce, nCino, Hyland OnBase, Microsoft SharePoint, CCBA, CBAP, or Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience with requirements gathering, software testing, and business process analysis
- Familiarity with custom line‑of‑business applications and off‑the‑shelf software solutions
