We’re looking for a proactive, solutionsdriven Credit Resolutions Officer to join our highperforming team. In this role, youll take the lead on servicing and resolving highrisk and nonaccrual loans across diverse portfolios. Youll partner closely with legal teams, branch staff, and regional leadership to protect the Associations financial health, reduce organizational risk, and maximize asset recovery all while delivering exceptional service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

 

HighRisk Loan Management

  • Manage and resolve nonaccrual, delinquent, and highrisk loans with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and member service.
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel on restructuring, foreclosure, litigation, and claimanddelivery actions.

Restructuring & Claims

  • Evaluate restructuring applications, negotiate terms, and prepare FSA guarantee loss claims and related documentation.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to attorneys regarding loan disposition pathways.

Portfolio Oversight

  • Gather and analyze borrower information to classify assets, monitor loan compliance, and determine appropriate resolution strategies.
  • Coordinate portfolio activities, including the use of government guarantees, to minimize losses and optimize recoveries.

CrossFunctional Support

  • Serve as a resource to branch teams on borrower rights, loss mitigation strategies, and distressed loan servicing.
  • Maintain accurate data systems, asset classifications, allowances, and chargeoff records.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Agriculture, Finance, or related field preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in credit, lending, or related financial services roles is required.
  • Strong understanding of credit extension, credit administration, and highrisk asset management.
  • Working knowledge of borrower rights, RESPA, foreclosure processes, claim and delivery, repossession, and bankruptcy types.
  • Ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory environments with confidence
