GreenStone FCS is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as Vice President of Application Services. This role provides strategic and operational direction for the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise architecture and customer experience initiatives. The VP will collaborate with internal business units to identify opportunities for service enhancement and oversee the selection and operation of critical information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
• Direct and empower technical teams to achieve departmental goals.
• Assign responsibilities, establish performance controls, and ensure resource availability.
• Communicate decisions and changes promptly and clearly.
• Coach and develop team members through continuous performance management.
• Recommend promotions and salary adjustments.
• Align departmental initiatives with core business strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and drive product planning.
Strategy & Planning
• Define and govern enterprise architecture processes and review protocols.
- Develop technical standards and solutions to address organizational challenges.
• Lead cloud adoption, software and test automation, performance testing, and UI testing strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and guide implementation decisions.
• Analyze business drivers to shape application and technical architecture requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across IT and business domains.
- Translate strategic goals into executable roadmaps covering technology, process, and security compliance.
• Own and evolve GreenStone’s customer experience strategy across all technology platforms.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred).
- Advanced Degree preferred.
- SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or Leading SAFe) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in multiple IT domains is required.
- At least 7 years of formal management experience leading cross-functional IT teams is required.
- Proven experience leading large-scale SAFe or Agile transformation initiatives, aligning business and technology teams around value streams to improve delivery speed, transparency, and adaptability, while maintaining the governance, compliance, and operational rigor required in a regulated financial environment.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical complexity and business impact clearly and persuasively.
- Experience engaging with executive leadership and business line heads to prioritize initiatives and report performance.
- Track record of developing talent, improving processes, and fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.
- Experience partnering with risk, audit, and compliance functions to maintain application integrity and audit readiness.
- Proven ability to develop and execute a multi-year application strategy and roadmap aligned to business goals.
- Demonstrated success in building business cases and managing multi-million-dollar technology budgets.
- Hands-on background in application development and support, DevOps, and system integration (API, microservices, cloud).
- Proven experience in modernizing legacy applications and leading cloud migration or hybrid architecture initiatives.
- Deep experience managing enterprise-scale application portfolios, including core banking, digital channels, data, and middleware systems preferred.
