Legal Internship

This is a paid Internship with an hourly rate of $19.50/hr

Duration: May 2025 – August 2025
Location: Based in our East Lansing, MI office, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the local community while being an integral part of our organization.

In this role, you will play a significant part in enhancing our legal processes, contributing to the success of our legal department and the organization as a whole.

Key Responsibilities of a Legal Intern:

• Legal Operations Support: Work closely with Legal staff members to support the Association and ongoing legal business operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the legal department.
• Special Project Assistance: Assist with special research projects and completion duties as assigned by Legal department leadership and staff, helping to address unique challenges and opportunities.

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Majors in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.

• Sophomore status or above in your academic program.
• A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
• Strong interest in or prior experience working in the agricultural sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
