What You’ll Do:

Instructional Design & Development:

  • Design, develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate courses and training programs, including associated materials.
  • Guide projects from needs analysis through development and implementation.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with subject matter experts (SME) to ensure content accuracy and relevance by engaging in collaborative sessions.
  • Collaborate with a team of facilitators, producers and other designers. To create high quality, engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Utilize various technologies and platforms for e-learning, including authoring tools, and multimedia software.
  • Assess progress and align content based on feedback and performance data
  • Maintain instructional design assignments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to peers to support the development of capabilities.
  • Analyze course and project feedback to identify additional learning opportunities.
  • Attend industry-focused opportunities to maintain awareness and knowledge on best practices for educational technology and instructional design.
  • Conduct peer reviews of course materials to ensure accuracy.
  • Lead and manage the integration of new e-learning applications, coordinating with other departments when necessary. 
  • Create customized e-learning content when necessary.

LMS Administration:

  • Create user logins as needed and manage user permissions and roles.
  • Ensure that the LMS works properly and acts quickly when unexpected errors occur.
  • Manage course enrollment including progress tracking (onboarding, leadership pathways, compliance training).
  • Work with employees and managers to ensure strong end-user experiences in the LMS. 

Learning Content Documentation:

  • Review accuracy of requested document changes and make changes to SOP, User Guides, Job Aids and other documents when changes are necessary. 
  • Update monthly training calendar and publish on the intranet.  Align with HR Training Calendar (Outlook) and LMS. 
  • Follow up with course evaluations and any necessary further learning or resource development.
  • Managing the content in the Resource Library as it relates to SOP, User Guides, Job Aids and eLearning content.

 

Senior Responsibilities:

Instructional Design & Development:

  • Apply adult learning principles and change management to create content that effectively achieves learning objectives, transfers knowledge, and builds learner proficiency in professional development subjects.
  • Develop assessment tools to measure learner progress and the effectiveness of instructional materials.
  • Perform GAP analysis on wholistic learning curriculum.
  • Manage instructional design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to peers to support the development of capabilities.
  • Attend industry-focused opportunities to maintain awareness and knowledge on best practices for educational technology and instructional design

Learning Content Documentation:

  • Research and create standard documentation processes and templates.
  • Review and Edit documentation created by less tenured teammates.

LMS Administration:

  • Develop standardized LMS operational processes and procedures, guidelines and documentation and ensure LMS governance model is being followed.
  • Research and manage learning vendors who provide content that resides in the LMS or the vendors platform. 
  • Research and implement LMS system upgrades.
  • Creation and analysis of monthly LMS reports.
  • Provide a high-level analysis of user data.

 

What You Bring:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is required.

Experience:

    • 1+ years of Graphic Design or Instructional Design or equivalent experience is required.

Added Experience for Senior:

  • 5+ years of Graphic Design or Instructional Design or equivalent experience is required.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Must be proficient in computer technology and Microsoft applications.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to successfully communicate both verbally and written.
    • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use new process and procedures to meet business initiatives.
    • Ability to work effectively on teams and on multiple projects, by building strong relationships, listening to others, valuing opinions, and helping team to meet goals.
    • Must develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of GreenStone’s operational processes and software solutions
    • Strong writing and organizational skills necessary. Proven ability to effectively manage daily work and longer-term projects and demands.
    • Ability to work and facilitate a course remotely
    • Proficiency in specialized software including Articulate, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories
    • ATD Certification (APTD, CPTD, Masters)
    • Knowledge of Change Management Methodology (Prosci)
