We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and highly organized Internal Communications Specialist to shape the voice of our organization from the inside out. In this role, you’ll build communication strategies that strengthen culture, support business priorities, and keep employees informed, inspired, and connected. You’ll partner with leaders across the company, manage key communication channels, and deliver messaging that resonates with a diverse, distributed workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Communications Strategy & Storytelling

  • Develop internal communication campaigns that support business goals and elevate company culture.
  • Write, edit, and proofread clear, engaging content for emails, intranet articles, leadership messages, presentations, and companywide announcements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping them communicate with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
  • Lead internal crisis and incident communications with accuracy, empathy, and speed.
  • Build and maintain a communication framework that includes tone/voice guidelines, templates, best practices, and compliance standards.

Campaign & Channel Management

  • Design and manage communication campaigns for major initiatives, measuring performance and impact.
  • Oversee all internal communication channels, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Continuously evaluate channel effectiveness and explore new tools and technologies to reach employees where they are.

Audience Segmentation & Distribution

  • Maintain accurate distribution lists and mailing groups.
  • Develop segmentation strategies to ensure the right messages reach the right audiences at the right time.
  • Establish clear protocols for message prioritization, cadence, and channel usage across the organization.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Communications, Marketing, English, or related field preferred).
  • 4+ years of corporate communications or internal communications experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Strong understanding of communication strategy and campaign design.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible messaging.
