Key Responsibilities:

 

Leadership & Team Development

  • Guide and empower a high-performing infrastructure team
  • Assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and foster accountability
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to improve workflows

Customer & Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with internal departments to align infrastructure with business goals
  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
  • Ensure top-tier service delivery to employees and collaboration partners

Standards, Monitoring & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce infrastructure standards, SLAs, and best practices
  • Monitor systems for performance, availability, and transparency
  • Maintain documentation and support a 24/7 on-call structure
  • Partner with Security to meet SOC1/SOC2 and other compliance standards

Technical Strategy & Execution

  • Own backup and disaster recovery strategy, including annual testing
  • Collaborate on cloud-first infrastructure design and execution
  • Lead automation efforts for deployment and monitoring
  • Oversee patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
  • Serve as SME on hardware, OS, and supported software

 

Qualifications:

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred)
  • Infrastructure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Administrator, VMware VCP) strongly preferred

 

Experience

 

  • 5+ years of computer processing or application experience required.
  • 1+ years project management experience required.
  • 1+ years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • 1+ years in development patterns, concepts, and designs required.

 

Skills & Competencies

•            Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies and infrastructure tools

•            Excellent verbal and written communication

•            Quick learner with a knack for solving complex problems

•            Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

•            Ability to support and troubleshoot:

•  Microsoft Azure

•  Windows Server & Microsoft 365

•  IIS, SCOM, SQL Server

•  LDAP, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP

•  SAN (PURE), Salesforce Administration
