The purpose of this position is to coordinate internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence, quality, and efficiency needed to service the Capital Markets portfolio with a focus towards syndication/participation activity.

Primary Responsibilities...

 

  • Works independently with lending participants on GreenStone’s complex, multi-billion syndicated loan portfolio to ensure timely credit underwriting and execution of loan documentation.
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet customer needs and manage the process of executing and servicing syndicated transactions while working collaboratively with members of the Sales, Credit, Legal, and Loan Accounting teams, including pre-close requirements, post-closing checklist, loan verifications, etc.
  • Coordinates the loan closing processes and required documentation with Legal and Loan Accounting, including controls checklists and documentation required for Farm Credit System reports.
  • Facilitates the syndication process by collecting bank commitments, Administrative Details forms, and lending participant approvals.
  • Provides draft and fully executed documents to Participants.
  • Responsible for tracking and disseminating financial and compliance reporting to participants as required by the credit agreement.
  • Manages and oversees Capital Markets documentation required for Collateral Custodian

reporting.

  • Manages patronage tracking within the Capital Markets portfolio while working with Capital Markets Leadership and Accounting department to provide consistent reporting with external

stakeholders.

  • Prepares Participation Certificates to farm credit institutions with VP of Loan Syndications/Senior Coordinator.
  • Coordinates the execution of these documents and delivery to Loan Accounting.
  • Manages the Capital Markets portfolio workflow and pipeline with Senior Coordinator,

including tracking of active requests, due dates, and deal team assignments.

 

 

Position Requirements…

  • High School diploma.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred.
  • 3 or more years of progressive experience in operational, administration, and legal aspects of complex, corporate, commercial, syndicated, and participated credits; or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient in computer technology and Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to understand and interpret credit agreements and legal documents.
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use new process and procedures to meet business initiatives.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
