The incumbent will also be responsible for a variety of analysis functions including business and technical requirements solicitation, technical design, meeting facilitation, and software testing.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with a required 3 days in the East Lansing, MI office.

Day in the life of a Business Systems Analyst
- Leading discovery and requirements sessions with business stakeholders.
- Building and configuring workflows and prompts.
- Submitting change requests and promoting code to lower region environments.
- Documenting business use cases, user requirements, and creating various flow and process diagrams.
- Working alongside developers and other BSA's as application solutions are designed and developed.
- Conducting collaborative business meetings with our partners and stakeholders providing critical project information and gaining approval for various solutions.
- Serving as level two support for incidents related to our business products and applications.
- Working with your flight team to refine work items, estimate effort, and plan-out work for a release date.
This position requires...
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is required.
- 2+ years of experience in Information Systems is required.
- Experience with Commercial Banking Business or Financial Industry is preferred.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have some direct experience with configuration, programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Developing business applications for meeting business needs ranging from adjusting configurations on purchased products to developing and maintaining code for business applications is preferred.
- Must have a passion for creating and delivering software that is both high quality and highly innovative.
- Ability to work effectively on teams by building strong relationships, listening to others, valuing opinions, and helping team to meet goals.
- Proven ability to work with users in complex problem solving and troubleshooting scenarios.
- Knowledge of creating SQL queries is desired.
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical understanding to a broad range of applications and complex data models.
- Ability to lead initiatives from idea to creation.
What will set you apart:
- Experience with API's
- Ability to understand different program languages and/or program concepts
- Experience with Salesforce configurations
- Familiarity with Apex code
- Azure DevOps experience
