Automated Quality Engineer

We are excited for you to apply to our Automated Quality Engineer position located in East Lansing, MI. The purpose of this position is to be a quality champion in the IS department. The person is to become a Quality Expert and know all aspects of the Software Development Life cycle as it relates to Quality Engineering. Some of the duties of this position will involve developing Quality Engineering Documentation around test plans and test cases as well as developing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases (functional, regression and performance). This position is expected to be a champion and jack of all trades when it comes to testing and software quality for solutions at GreenStone FCS. This position will protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of any data that is customer sensitive or might adversely affect the reputation of GreenStone FCS.

This position requires…

• Bachelor's degree required, computer science or related majors preferred.

• Certification in at least one of the following may be desired or required: International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB).

• 4 years of experience in a quality assurance role or in an IT environment is required.
• 2 years of experience in an automated quality assurance role is required
• Experience using object-orientated programming to write and maintain reusable test automation code.
• API testing experience is preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance in a DevOps environment is preferred.
• Experience with Performance testing is preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team environment
