GreenStone Farm Credit Services is seeking an Associate Financial Services Officer who is interested in building a career in agricultural lending and customer relationship management.

This is an entry-level lending position designed to develop future Agricultural Loan Officers. You will gain hands-on experience across customer relationships, sales, credit, financial analysis, loan origination and portfolio servicing while working alongside experienced Financial Services Officers, Credit Analysts and other GreenStone employees.

We are looking for someone who brings curiosity, sound judgment, accountability, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in learning how to support agricultural customers and communities.

What You'll Do

 

Grow Customer Relationships

  • Support customer relationship management and business development efforts.
  • Participate in customer meetings and joint sales calls with experienced lenders.
  • Learn to identify customer needs and recommend financial solutions.
  • Promote GreenStone's products, services, and value to customers.

Develop Lending Expertise

  • Gather and analyze financial information to support lending decisions.
  • Assist with loan origination, servicing, and portfolio management activities.
  • Learn credit analysis, underwriting standards, and lending policies.
  • Partner with lending, credit, and risk teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

Engage in the Community

  • Represent GreenStone at agricultural, industry, and community events.
  • Build professional relationships and expand your agricultural network.
  • Support outreach and educational initiatives that strengthen GreenStone's presence in local markets.

 

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
