Looking for seasonal work where you can put your accounting knowledge to use? Whether you’re an accounting student, have previous accounting or tax experience, are returning to the workforce, or simply looking for professional seasonal work, GreenStone may be a great fit.

GreenStone Farm Credit Services is looking for Seasonal Tax & Accounting Staff to support our Tax & Accounting teams during our busiest time of year.

You don’t need years of tax experience to apply. If you’ve taken accounting courses or have previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax, or a related area, we’d like to hear from you.

Season: Approximately November/December 2026 through April 2027
Pay: Starting at $20/hour
Schedule: Flexible seasonal schedule, with a minimum of 24 hours per week, during our Monday through Friday workweek

This is a temporary seasonal position and is not eligible for employee benefits.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your experience, you may:

• Help process year-end accounting information.
• Prepare W-2s, 1099s and other tax forms.
• Assist with payroll tax reporting.
• Support data entry and preparation of individual and business tax returns.
• Assist experienced Tax Accountants during tax season.
• Help keep work organized and moving to meet important tax deadlines.
• Work with customers and team members to provide great service.

Who We’re Looking For

You could be a great fit if you have some accounting knowledge through education or experience.

That might include:

• College students currently taking accounting courses.
• Recent accounting or business graduates.
• Individuals with previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll or tax experience.
• Professionals looking for seasonal work.
• Individuals returning to the workforce who have an accounting background.

You don’t need to check every box. We’re primarily looking for people who are detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable working with numbers and ready to learn.

Experience or interest in agriculture is a plus, but not required.
