At GreenStone Farm Credit Services, we're seeking an individual interested in joining our Service Desk team and be a part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.  This position provides daily IT support to GreenStone and collaboration employees. 

 

 

This position will be located in St. Paul, MN and is eligible for a hybrid schedule with a required 3 days in the St. Paul, MN office.

Day in the life of a Service Desk Specialist

 

  • Supporting ProPartners and GreenStone staff by responding to incidents and requests coming in through e-mail, phone, and our self-service portal. 
  • Create, review, and revise knowledge solutions that are published for the IS department as well as ProPartners and GreenStone staff. 
  • Collaborating with team members to identify trends in issues that may be causing a wider problem. 
  • Maintaining quick service delivery by following up with tickets, ensuring they are being worked on in a timely manner. 

 

 

What Experience can you Bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of technical or business experience is required.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft technologies is required. 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to successfully communicate both verbally and written.
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use new process and procedures to meet business initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively on teams by building strong relationships, listening to others, valuing opinions, and helping team to meet goals.
  • Familiarity with the following Microsoft Products: Salesforce, SharePoint, Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and Office 365 are a plus.
  • Incumbent should have knowledge in one or more areas of computer systems, network operating systems (LAN/WAN), data and voice communications, workstation operating systems and configurations, Internet, Intranet and software applications (HTML programming). 
  • This position requires the ability to provide excellent customer service in a multi-tasking environment and be able to evaluate technical problems, evaluate options and solutions, and communicate this information to staff in terms that will be understood.
